Meet The Founder

Jim Vasconcellos is the President and Founder of ProAction Consulting, with over 30 years of experience in strategic planning, leadership development, project management, and technology implementation. A visionary leader, Jim has a proven track record of driving success across multiple industries.

Jim began his career in the Air Force as an Intelligence Collection Officer, developing leadership and analytical skills. After leaving active duty to complete his education, he worked in various roles, including for a stealth radar technology contractor and several consulting positions at firms like IBM/Lotus. His efforts have resulted in significant revenue growth and process efficiency improvements.

In the Air Force Reserve, he led large-scale projects with global impact, often briefing high-ranking officials and contributing to national policy. Jim is well-known for completing stalled projects efficiently.

He holds two master’s degrees: a Master of Science in Systems Management from USC and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University, where he is also pursuing a Doctor of Education. Jim is a forward-thinking leader who challenges conventional wisdom and enjoys travel, culture, and sailing. He resides in Orange County, CA, with his family.
